What are your thoughts on the Bluetooth headsets? Are they reliable? Should I get one?

cole h asked:

I have a PPC 6700 and I get a headset without wires for him because I'm constantly on the go. I'm a bit hesitant to buy one because I have heard these rumors they aren 't 100% reliable. What are your thoughts? I don 't want to spend $ 100 just to end up missing calls. If you are reliable, where can I get one? Sprint's website was not ninguÌ? N use.

Is it a bluetooth phone? If so, headsets usually work well. If not, (like if you need a bluetooth transmitter as well) then I wouldn’t reccomend it.

    Dorky-looking in my opinion.

1st thing check out for some bluetooth deals b4 spending a lot of money.

Bluetooth technology is the best thing they have come up with…
I love my bluetooth…I use it all day long. I won’t talk on the phone without it. Great reception, hassle free, easy to use! It’s the BOMB!!

I purchased some from the website and they are great

I bought a bluetooth for my blade phone and it sucks. The few idiots i know who bought one also say they suck. Not reliable. If you want it just to talk to your friends etc it would be ok, but if you need it for your work or if your not a patient person, forget it

I have one for my razr and I hate it. I only use it when I’m driving on long trips but I’ve completely given up on it. It doesnt ring when i get a call, and I can never hear anyone on it. They’re most definitely not worth the money, and if I paid for mine I would have made a huge stink. Luckily for me, it came free with my mom’s phone, but she has bluetooth in her car so she didnt need it.

For all the bluetooth headsets we tried, Plantronics Voyager 510 has the best performance.

    See our review at:

Three things we want to emphasize on this headset:

    1. It has a terrific noise canceling microphone which can block most of the background noise in our tests.

    2. It has a super comfortable ear hook design.

    3. The price is right.
